Just a stone throw away from one of the mega malls in Singapore, Ji Hotel Orchard is also a 3 minute walk from Plaza Singapura. The nearest subway (MRT) station is Dhoby Ghaut, a mere 5 minute stroll away. If you are arriving via Changi Airport, the hotel is only 25 minutes away, right in the heart of downtown.

When one first step into the reception area, it gives the feel that this is a Chinese targeted hotel with nice chinese arts decorated across the lobby. Indeed, the owner is from China with payment can be easily accepted via Chinese famous payment mode like Alipay, WeChat Pay. Rest assure when it comes to service and amenities, it is not compromised as it is under Accor hotel management which certainly have a standard that they have to upload.

Room Rates

The room rate typically average across Singapore Dollars SGD$150 a night for a super double room. Comparing room rates of nearby hotels in orchard road district which average around SGD$300 a night, the room are consider a steal at this rate!

Amenities 

If you wish to have GrabFood deliver to the hotel, it is pretty straight forward to have them deliver to the front desk which works perfectly late into the night as it is a 24 hour operated front desk counter. The hotel also offers dry cleaning services and a 24-hour self-service launderette.

Not to mention, located on level 2 just beside the laundrette, there is a mini gym. However, be prepare to be disappointed if you are looking for a gym with full set of equipment. The gym only consists of a running thread mill which I think it would be better if one goes to the nearby Fort Canning Hill located just at the back of the hotel if you want to have a good sweat out.

What I love most is that each room is equipped with a complimentary minibar replenished daily and consists of 2 bottled water. The homely interior design with beige and wooden material look alike , made the stay comfortable.

In fact, the best part of the room is the wide flat-screen TV with cable channels. Coupled with complimentary internet TV and WiFi services, Ji Hotel Orchard is highly recommended for your prefect staycation or for foreign travellers to stay in.  The location allows one to stay near shopping amenities, enjoying the convenience it brings along. In addition, the vibe of staying close to nature, where a hike up in the morning at Fort Canning Hill would be perfect to kickstart your day while admiring the skyline of Singapore.
